After its first introduction in last November 2021 globally, Poco M3 finally steps its foot to Indonesia. One of the most highlighted features of the device is a jumbo battery power.
The phone boasts 6000 mAh battery juice, powerful enough to handle almost any of users’ daily tasks for up to two and a half days. Such a battery capacity is considerably big enough for a device within entry level segment.
Moreover, the battery supports Fast Charging 18W technology once connected to its charger via a USB Type-C cable.
The best part, while currently “Charger Not Included” becomes a trend thanks to the latest iPhone, Xiaomi still ships Poco M3 with its 22.5W charger.
Hence, users don’t even bother to buy it separately.
Design-wise, Poco M3 comes with a bold eye-cacthing design with a distinctive feature on the back side.
A noticable large camera section with POCO text written and can easily be seen.
On the front side, the device sports 1080P FHD+ IPS LCD screen which is very common within all devices in the entry level segment.
It comes with a notched Dot Drop design but hey! It has Gorilla Glass 3 protecting the screen from scratches.
Poco M3 comes with three main cameras on the back side:
- 48 MP, f/1.8, (wide angle), 1/2.0″, 0.8µm, PDAF
- 2 MP, f/2.4, (macro camera)
- 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth sensor)
On the front side, it sports a 8MP shooter with f/2.1, wide angle, 1/4.0″ 1.12µm sensor. Allowing users to capture nice selfies.
Poco M3 boasts Qualcomm SM6115 Snapdragon 662 chipset which is manufactured under 11 nm fabrication making it easy to battery consumption.
The SoC has Octa-core CPUs consisting of 4x 2.0GHz Kryo 260 Gold and 4x 1.8GHz Kryo 260 Silver.
Not to mention that the SoC also comes with Adreno 610 GPU, the phone is capable of playing your favourite games although some graphic demanding tittles may run on the smallest possible configs.
The phone is available globally in one variant which is 4 GB ROM storage and 64 GB RAM memory.
However, the phone comes to Indonesia in two variants: 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB.
The memory utilizes LPDDR4X technology while its internal storage is UFS 2.2. Such a technology can offer better performance and faster data reading speed.
The phone also provides a MicroSD slot to cram in an external storage media with capacity up to 512GB.
Poco M3 ships running MIUI 12 based on Android 10 by default.
We believe it will also get Android 11 update in the near future.
There are three colour variants available: Power Black, Cool Blue, and Poco Yellow.
Another highlighted feature of Poco M3 is a dual stereo speaker certified with Hi-Res Audio technology. Pretty rare for phones in the same price point.
Moreover, its huge battery is claimed to have better lifecycle. Users can charge its power for more than 1000 times without having to deteriorate its quality. It’s lifecycle is said 25% better than others.
The side-mounted fingerprint sensor is really awesome. This feature is usually available within mid-range segment devices like Redmi Note 9 Pro.
Some more features include IR Blaster, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, time lapse recording, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and satellite positioning technology that supports A-GPS, GLONASS, and BDS.
Poco M3 is set to debute in Indonesia on January 26, 2021.
Price wise, the phone is available for $ 149.00 / € 179.00 / £ 169.00 / IDR 1.900.000,- Indonesian Rupiah.
