Firstly spotted at TEENA, a phone allegedly as the standard variant of Redmi Note 9 is finally confirmed as Redmi 10X.
Sporting a similar design as of Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, the phone is basically Redmi 10X. This handset will be first available exclusively in China.
Recently, a thread posted at Mi Global Community hints a release of the vanilla Redmi Note 9.
The official poster mentions the exact schedule date as well (see above) which will take place on April 30, 2020, via online live streaming on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Mi website here.
Such an online release event is understandable due to the COVID19 pandemic worldwide.
Leaked Key Specifications
As with other phones listed on TEENA website, the exact phone design along with key specifications are clearly spottable.
While the Pro and Pro Max variants ship with Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, the vanilla variant will come powered with MediaTek Helio G85 SoC.
Several combinations of RAM and Storage will be available as well: 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB, and 6GB/128GB.
As for its camera, the phone will sport a quad-camera setup similar to its older brothers. The main camera has 48MP sensor though.
Redmi 10X a.k.a Redmi Note 9 will also come in three colour variants: Sky Blue, Pine Morning Green, and Ice Fog White.
The main noticeable difference between Redmi Note 9 vs its Pro and Pro Max is the location of fingerprint sensor.
Other specs including MIUI 11 Android 10, USB-C 2.0 port, microSD card slot (up to 512GB), 6.53″ IPS LCD display, 13MP front shooter, Li-Po 5020 mAh battery, and 22.5W fast-charging technology.
Let’s see what the actual specs are once the phone released few days next.
