The first coming of Android One to Xiaomi families was the release of Mi A1. The phone was said very successful scoring massive numbers of sales.
This led to the next iterations of Mi A1 which were Mi A2, Mi A2 Lite, and Mi A3.
But a recent rumour says that there will be no hope for Mi A4.
Android One is Google’s very own version of Android operating system. It is a near-to-stock OS maintained directly by Google.
OEMs enrolled with the program would no longer spend so much time maintaining the operating system.
Apparently, the number of Mi Fans loving Android One is lesser than those preferring MIUI, Xiaomi’s own skinned version of Android.
There are team Android One and team MIUI.
Some refers to the number of sales while other connect the rumours to the absence of Mi A4 leaks.
What’s the matter?
Xiaomi managed to organize a public survey to its users asking users to vote between MIUI or “stock” Android.
The result is interesting. MIUI won in slightly higher with 57% over Stock.
It’s still a mystery since the result was removed soon after announced.
Whatever the reason is, it is unusual for Xiaomi to not teasing or leaking the upcoming Android One device.
The next question is, are you team MIUI or team Android One?
